Developers Artist Studio LLC was established on May 8, 2023, by Jessenia Colon and Shaira Aviles, two artists and developers embarking on a journey into the business world to make an impact in the gaming and software development industry. Presently situated in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the company operates exclusively online. Developers Artist Studio is committed to empowering the gaming community on the island while innovating new concepts and ideas to advance our mission and long-term vision for the future.
Jessenia Colon
Owner of Developers Artist Studio LLC. Jessenia is a Concept Artist and software developer aiming to further develop the Video Game industry within the island of Puerto Rico.
Shaira Aviles
Co-Owner of Developers Artist Studio LLC. Shaira is a software developer and 3D Modeler aiming to further develop the Video Game industry within the island of Puerto Rico.
Nelson Colon
Nelson is a prominent shareholder of Developers Artist Studio LLC and a dedicated supporter of the team. His exceptional business acumen has been a great source of inspiration for Jessenia and Shaira as they ventured into the world of business.
Our Story
The proprietors of Developers Artist Studio, Jessenia and Shaira, first met while pursuing their Master’s Degree in Interactive Technology Programming in February 2020. Collaborating on several projects, they gradually fostered a strong friendship. It was not long before they discovered that their values and visions for the future were remarkably aligned, prompting them to contemplate a broader and more ambitious trajectory.
In January 2022, they embarked on their first participation in the Global Game Jam, joining forces with two friends to create the prototype of Dual Hearts. The subsequent year, the team engaged once more, presenting a new concept, yet unable to meet the deadline, consequently only able to showcase the prototype. Following this, they endeavored to collaborate on other projects; however, the team eventually disbanded, with each member going their separate ways.
Even though the previous team had disbanded, Jessenia and Shaira decided to continue collaborating on small projects. On May 5th, 2023, the two were discussing the creation of video game assets for sale. They envisioned embarking on a long journey towards generating passive income and were strategizing their next steps for accomplishing the long-term mission they had dreamed of. Later that day, they received an offer of sponsorship from Nelson Colon, a current shareholder of the company, which led to the realization of Developers Artist Studio.
